About the Festival

A bridge of culture and storytelling between France and Latin America.

Our Mission

The Auray au Cinéma Latin Festival Internationale is a four-day festival dedicated to celebrating the richness, diversity, and artistic power of Latin American cinema, while also curating outstanding international films from all continents.

Hosted in the charming town of Auray in the Morbihan department of Brittany, France, our festival promotes Latin American culture to a wider European audience, fosters active cultural exchange between France and Latin America, and creates an accessible springboard for emerging independent filmmakers.

Town & Venue

Auray is renowned for its historic timbered streets, the scenic port of Saint-Goustan, and a tight-knit community of film enthusiasts.

Rather than overwhelming commercial multiplexes, our festival screens in community halls and intimate cinema auditoriums where natural warm lighting, close-up camera angles on filmmaker panels, and direct audience interaction make every single screening memorable.

More Than Screenings

In addition to daily film programs, the festival features roundtable discussions, filmmaking workshops, musical interludes, and welcoming social gatherings where guest directors and local audiences mingle.
